In the previous post we gave you the keys to combine three of the five models of sunglasses that Carmen Lomana has designed with Montsaint. These models could be considered the most "classic" of the collection because of their colors (based on a dark chromatic range) and the use of tortoiseshell print. However, the other two remaining designs are quite the opposite: the Amalfi and Marbella models have frames in light and luminous colors such as white and pink, making them sunglasses totally in line with the summer.
The keys to these sunglasses models
As we have mentioned, these eyewear models break away from the tradition of the rest. While the Alcalá, Golden Mile and Sicilia models were based on timelessness due to their colors and shapes, the Marbella and Amalfi models seek to break with the established and make sunglasses one of the most striking accessories of the outfit.
The Amalfi model has a pink frame with a certain tendency to pale pink. The shape of its frame could be considered classic, but by presenting an elevation in the upper corners of the frame that make it simulate a bit the 'eye-cat' effect, it is possible to make them a more innovative glasses.
The Marbella model shows a clear influence of the geometric shapes of the sunglasses of the 70s, as we mentioned in another blog post. Its rectangular shape is very reminiscent of the Frame Black model, which was one of Montsaint's most popular models. In addition, the white frame gives it an even more striking and retro touch.
How to combine sunglasses designed by Carmen Lomana?
In the same way that the other models combined better with dark garments and accessories to maintain that tonality, with these glasses the opposite happens. That is why the Santa Fe dress (available in blue, pink or green), for example, becomes a great option to combine any of the glasses we talked about in this post. Its cyan, white and pink shades make it a great ally for both models.
Finally, a raffia bag can be the perfect icing on the cake. Raffia is a purely summer material and a bag made with it gives a lot of light to any outfit.
